Last night my husband got on to this subject if everything is 50/50. Basically we were talking about if we were to get divorce {we were watching divorce Court} who would be responsible for what? To my completely unawaring eye he's actually said your credit cards are your and mine are mine. A little back ground about are relationship. He filed backruptcy right before we got engaged. So he didn't have no credit cards in the beginning of are marriage. I had a few credit cards all paid off. We have been married four years and have 22000 in credit card debt in my name. He just got a new credit card that has $500 on it. So what do you think? Is it really 50/50? I mean if technically we got divorced right now I would be left with a lot of Credit Card debt. which to me is Both of Are debts because we spent it togetheir. So Please Tell me what you think?

personal opinion, everything is 50/50.. thats what stated when you married each other.. as priests says.. "in sickness and in health, for richer and for poorer,..." before getting married doesnt solely involve love.. it's marrying everything he has or doesnt have and saying i do means, accepting, no matter what.. you loved him unconditionally and accepted everything in him before, why forget it now? after you got the divorce, that tie will be gone.. you can have the things called "yours", "personal", "mine" and "alone".. things that yours, will be yours alone..
