Until Barack Obama became the Democrat Presidential nominee, I'd never heard of a community organizer. Considering the way so many in our nation and around the world are behaving towards him (as if he were a savior), I have to ask, what exactly has he done that has you all in such awe? He hasn't been in the senate long enough or done enough there to merit such worship, so I guess it has to be as a community organizer. It's amazing to me that a community organizer is more qualified to be President of the United States than someone who has served in the senate for twenty years or a Governor of a state. So I must ask what he did as a community organizer that has brought on such accolades? What does a community organizer do?

There are many community organizers (Jesus being the most famous) who have made a difference in the world. Barack Obama was elected because he was a better choice than McCain, and the American people were sick of republicans. Politics runs in cycles, and the last two elections been anti republican cycles. It is that simple. Any person taking over this country right now will have a hard time turning this country around. We have been in a recession for almost a year now, we have a huge credit crisis, unemployement is at a 14 year high, and we have the largest deficit in our nations history. I don't know if Obama can change any of this, Bush has left this country much worse than he inherited it. We can only hope that he can get us out of this mess, and get us back on track.

In a situation as this it has to be dealt with properly due to it's amount of
complications and complicity it brings and if it is not done right it will cause a domino effect into extreme and crucial fast sinking quicksand and will need tending to immediately by who do not want to see the Americans go and then Americas fate will be decided that way who ever wins the thumbs up or thumbs down?
Right now I believe the Americans can still navigate it's way out of this Emergency Landing but a plan of action has to be tweaked down to it's core is tight in the beginning.
Then even if a trickled down snowballed domino effect with an avalanche of crashed planes would not matter because any landing that we can walk away from is a good landing.
As we mention earlier in order to be sure that we have the right timing and the Right call of action to take place and be effective immediately we need to know how many pilots and co-pilots their will be from the beginning.
So we need to have a plan in place that is going to steadily work, one that is on time, one that builds just the right regulated speed automatically because other functions in place will allow it to do so not to start up to quickly at once that would defeat our cause of best potential outcomes with only minor adjustments needing to be made if any.
The main thing you want to assuredly know that you are on destination route prosperity.Remember that any landing we can walk away from is a good landing we can always go back and recovery when it's is done that way you always have a best outcome created results.
Another possibility is you have to give it to the banks and create an stimulus option even though some birds might get hit buy both stones stimulus and loans which may not be bad around this time when a lot of business make up their sales, losses or profits losses during the or if time permits a double stimulus either way it has been promised over and over or at least mention that another stimulus is in consideration the President said that about a month after the first one to see how well it does.
We have to make sure that the money goes to the little banks because money needs to be in the most reliable and trusted hands and signed to make good by the big banks who lend them the money.
The money have to be loaned to people who are the best quality to pay back before it can be loaned out on chanced recovery.
And people who can create jobs and small businesses.

I wouldn't put Obama in the same league with Jesus. But for the sake of argument let's say Jesus was a community organizer and he certainly far passes Obama in his service of the community. When corruption entered the temple, Jesus beat it out. I can't find anything similar with Obama. When Jesus was betrayed, and vilified he asked God to forgive them. Obama made snide comments.
I'm not saying that anyone else in the election was better than Obama as a human being. I'm saying that comparing Obama to Christ is equal to comparing a weed to a rose and Obama is not the rose.

Irish, my comparison to Jesus is a way of answering the question. I understand that YOU don't think that there is a comparison between the two. What I was saying is like saying that Michael Jordan was a basketball player, and he played basketball. This way you don't have to spend hours explaining what someone does, you give an example of someone that does this same job, so they understand. According to your examples of Jesus, today he would be a politican or Ralph Nader, and I don't think he would be.

I do agree with you. But on the lighter side, it is more on being optimistic with someone who is new.
We will just see in the next days ahead if Mr. Obama can deliver what he really promises. I hope he is not just a hype. I hope he will live up to what he has promised.
As per qualification itself, Mr. OBama could be outdone by Mr. McCain. However, Mr. McCain is just so very associated with Republican to the extent that people could not anymore distinguish a person from the party.
This election is a a must win for Democrats.
