I have visited 2 countries where beautiful beaches were there. I think the best beaches were in Sri Lanka - they have wonderful sandy beaches and loads of sun and many tourists love to come there to enjoy the sun and sandy beaches. The same goes for Jamaican beaches -they are also really beautiful -the water there is really blue and clear and it is a wonderful feeling as Jamaicans really know how to have fun with music and dancing on the beaches. It was a wonderful experience. So, do you like to go to beaches and if so, which beach that you have visited had the best experience for you?

The beaches in Fiji are the best in the world. My personal fav is the Pacific Harbour. Pacific Harbour Beach is positioned at the southernmost end of Coral Coast, and it is about another 45 Minutes drive futher on from Suva (Fiji's largest City). The beaches there are more yellow colour then white, as they are no longer formed by the breaking of coral as is found on coral coast. The beaches are wide as well, esp good for running, vollyball and other sports.

I love visiting beaches! in fact, at this time last year I was getting married on a beach in the Outer Banks, North Carolina here in the States. The Outer Banks are my favorite beaches in the US. I visited Madrid, Spain about 10 years ago and took the train to the Costa Del Sol. We were there in early June and the water was so cold! My sister and I couldn't believe how the other beach goers ran into the water while we could barely stand to have our feet get wet! The beach was beautiful and the skies were amazing, I've never seen such blue skies. My third favorite beach is in the Bahamas, on a tiny island called Eleuthera. One of the most beautiful attractions is called the Glass Window Bridge, a point where you can look to one side and see the dark blue Atlantic ocean and on your other the lighter turquoise blue of the Caribbean. There are also pink sand beaches and very quiet gentle beaches with too many beautiful shells to choose from! Now I miss the beach (any beach) more than ever! Great topic!

I visited Brazil quite some years ago, and found the beach extremely beautiful. along the beach, other than star hotels, you will find apartments, which I was told to be used only seasonaly by their owners. We enjoyed the busy beach sight, watching people swimming or leasurely lying on the sand. I am just back from a trip to Taiwan. As a contrast, the eastern coast of Taiwan Island is such a quiet place. Because of the immediate depth of sea water, no tourist facilities have been developed along the coast. The only 5-star hotel newly built is being held from opening, being urged to upgrade its drainage treatment. China has a long coastal line, but high density of habitants has left few cities with really nice beaches. Beidaihe, Dalian, and Sanya on the Hainan Island are good ones in my memory.

Barbados has some of the best beaches, crane beach I beleave was voted the 11th in the world, Barbados being a small Island it's almost impossable not to see the sea or ocean when traveling around the Island. The south coast is beautiful for baithing or surfing at Atlantic shores--Bathsheba also is a great spot for surfing if you want to visit try www.maybell.net for good rates on accommodation
