Hi there! Well if I happen to lose my job I would find another one. Like now I don't have a job. Though we have a family business that I manage I still want to find a job to have even more income. I can't just depend on the income of the business cause if I do, the return of investment would be lesser cause other expenses are taken from the sales. But while I am waiting for a job, I am making myself productive everyday. Like what I do here in mylot. Trying to earn cash. I also have my other online earnings so at least even if I am home I am making money. Jobs are important. It is the source of your income and your way to live. You can for a while take a rest. You deserve it but don't make it too long cause time is wasted for other opportunities. Ciao!

Dear friend, I would try for another job and moreover I would be bit economical in spending money until I get a better job or a much stable job. I hope money do have a big role sometimes if someone is depending on us or may if someone love us. Hence I feel to lose a job in situations were some is loving us and depending us is really a mess.

I will sit back, concentrate on my study while i am looking for a normal job. I think i will get a low pay job first until i find something suit me then i will change. Life is not at the end yet, isn't it? If you believe, then it will happen.

Take a week and get your head on straight, then go look for another job. If you go in fresh to an interview you won't spill over to your potential employer all the things you disliked about your last job. Its not the end of the world, take a breath and regroup. Appeal to those here on mylot, maybe somebody can help you. I'll start, what do you like to do and what is your background in.

That's so sad... What you need to do is to relax first. I suggest you tell your parents what really happened because you will be surprised on how supportive they will be. I hope they will understand, just tell the truth. Once they see you cry they will understand your hurt. Take a break first. Take your time to accept what happened until your ready to start looking for a new job...

I was in the same situation before, i feel hopeless for i cant find job easily, i pray to God to have a good job and yes He answered my prayer, i am now 6 years from my job and i am so happy in the place i work dispite of some differences with my co worker. I would suggest you go out and find a new job out there, and ask God for guidance that you can find a job that you will be happy and at the same time you feel satisfied. I still believe in Him that who ever ask shall recieve, and those who seek sahll find.

My situation may be similar to yours except for much longer than one week. My husband returned from Afghanistan 4 months ago and he still can't find a regular job. Does anyone out there know where the jobs are? We'll go anywhere except, Afghanistan and Iraq or Yemen or North Korea. The rest of the world is fine. Don't worry too much about being without work for one week. Write me again when you pass the 4 month mark. Good luck and keep your spirits high.

When I quit my previous job, I had a rest of 2 weeks, I spend everyday in the libray and thinking of nothing. Then after 2 weeks, I began to find a job. To find a job is tougher than I expected. It took another 2 weeks for me to find a new job. A job which is of the same nature to my previous one. But I like this one better, becuase working in this company is more freedom and I got more spare time to do things that I like.

The answer to your question depends on your situation. You have only two choices, first of course is to find another job, that is if you're really short of money and need a job to pay the cost of daily living. Now, if you have enough savings, you can opt to relax a bit, give yourself a break. Depending on your budget you can go to another place in your country or go abroad to relax. Like what I said, that depends on your situation. In my case, I'm very much contented with my job and hopefully my company is contented with me too. Good Luck and think carefully about your future!

After losing my job, I'll get another job. If you think you need a break, perhaps it's a good time to have that break too. Rest for awhile, think what you want to do in your life and plan what you what to do next, then start moving. I understand it's hard to get a job you like, but sometimes you will not know when you go out there and take a look. Every time when I quit a job, I'd hope for a break. But, I always got another job very soon, then I started the new job just after I stopped working in my previous one.
