I have two male friends on here and I often get similar answers from each and they ask similar question. These two people are not even the same nationality but they are both witty and soppy, (sorry romantic is their word). Have you ever made friends with people who are so much alike that you find it hard to believe they are not the same person even though the evidence is there that they are not? If this discussion doesn't make sense I'm sorry but it made sense to me and may make sense to the two people concerned.

I have a friend on here who is soppy, her word, too. She often types the same reply as me before I do. We're very similar although from very different backgrounds. She's very posh whilst I am as rough as an old piece of sandpaper. I am me though and no one else. I'm actually very very fond of her even though she treats me like s small boy much of the time! Which I like really. I hope that your friends write in and clarify their position. In the meantime I expect that I shall talk to you soon. Sunday seems like a good day.

I am quite aware that the two people are not the same I just find it amazing that even though they are different natonalities they seem so similar. The typing the same reply is a bit spooky. You need to be treated like a small boy most of the time. I think you'll find it's you wot's the posh one. Sunday is good for me.

I can't say that I have nanna. But there is a person here who I'm sure shares their account with someone...sort of opposite to what you are saying. There are two completely different writing styles but sometimes they seem to be combined. It's quite annoying as one person(?)posts the same type of discussion all the time and repeats 3 discussion topics over and over...practically the same questions. The other person writes a variety of topics and has a much better command of English. As I say, it's really aggravating.

That must be annoying especially as it would be so easy for them to have an account each.

How frustrating when the person has two different writing styles. I wonder if it actually two different people who are posting here under the one username as you suspect is happening. Also if it actually 2 different people, why they just don't get separate accounts as that makes more sense. It is possible here on myLot for more than 1 member to have the same ISP, although many forums/sites do not allow it. It is not really cheating for 2 people to share the one username on myLot and both to post under it, or is it I wonder? Maybe they can be online at totally different times due to work schedules or whatever and think that combined they will earn more money than if they have separate identities. Perhaps this way they reach minimum payout each month but would not do so if posting as individuals with an account each. Strange and no doubt aggravating as you say MsTickle.

I didn't think of two people posting at the same time...that's definitely cheating. The person I'm referring to originally was plodding along slowly then all of a sudden the post count increased by huge amounts every day. She is now one of the highest posters. I know she posts while at work but two people posting as one would certainly increase the post count as rapidly as this one has. Shame.

I have noticed it in the past but not here on myLot. It would have been a bit strange for you at first and you must have wondered a little I imagine. In my case the two who are somuch alike are my sister-in-law who is Australian and the other is my cousin's wife who is in the U.S. I have never actually met my cousin as our parents migrated to different countries when we were only a year old. My sister-in-law first made contact with our relations in the U.S. some years ago and the women got on vert well via email, till they eventuated to phone calls every couple of months. I was first alerted to the similarities when one call was on speaker phone and other than the accent, it would have been hard to say which one was doing the talking. The two women have never met either but they are hoping it will happen one day in the future. lol I have heard of this sort of thing happening with blood relations who have never met but they have the same mannerisms etc but never with non-related people.

Thanks very much for giving me best response. The other day I was talking with some friends about this subject, or how 2 people who are not related can be so much alike in more ways than one. One of my friends related the story of how there was a woman who worked with his wife some years ago. Another employee commented one day that these two women had so many characteristics and mannerisms which were the same. They simply put it down to the fact that these women worked in the same office in adjoining desks and over time picked up some of the traits of the other. Many years later they attended a family reunion and this other woman was there as wel. It turned out that their respective great-grandmothers had been cousins and so the similarities were probably family traits.

When I was new here, I thought someone was my former classmate! They not only spoke in a similar way, but also looked like twins. I was very curious of ther and asked her weather she was my former classmate. Afterall, my guess turned to be a mistake. She was not even Chinese, lol. How come people in different countries look so similar. Oh, until, I feel it amazing!
