Okay this is kinda silly but I knwo someone who absolutely HATES it when people park on the footpath/ sidewalk. Around my area people are always parkind at the edge so the sidewalks are always having to be repaired. It's slightly annoying... It seems like a waste of money in a way. Here, it's against the law but most people dont know. Some are probably afraid that there car is in the way or that theres not enough room on the road but there IS at least here. It's probably not a significant ammount of money being spent on this but it's going in a cyle, once the sidewalk is repaired people park there and it's destroyed immediatly. Thanks for reading my pointless... well I donno what~ xD

Yeah, that is kind of annoying. Seems like a big waste of money to keep repairing the sidewalks. It's illegal to park on the sidewalks here too and the police in our village are very strict with that. The tickets that they give you are very expensive for such an offense. But, I guess that's where some of the money comes from to fix the sidewalks. I liked your discussion just fine! ;)

I work for a CIT(Cash in Tranzit) Company.and we have to park on side walk's all the time. why does'nt the goverment make the side walks Stronger to handle VANs parking on the foot paths because we can't drive two block's down the street and carry our cash half way down the road I talking around (160,000 to 500,000) dollars at a time. i mean if we got robbed that could fix the side walk 1000 times over. And why don't thay make it stronger it is because People need jobs. Rule and laws make jobs the more rules the more jobs thats how i see it. LOL Well I DONNO.
