What about good responses?

I noticed that once I give someone a good response, I no longer seem to get any more responses. Is it good to give early responses early in the game or should a wait for a period of time? If so...what's a good time frame?

I really slack on giving best responses. I actually finally went back and finished up mine a few weeks ago. I had over 200 best responses to give out. Some people will not respond to a discussion after best response is awarded, but I respond anyway.

I really don't think there is a good or bad time to do it. Now as far as you giving a good response and then not geting anymore after that I dont think givinga good response has anything to with it. You can give a goo response to more than one person in the same discussion as well.

You should give an best response only when you feel that an member has made a good point to your discussion. It can be at anytime that you feel it is right. But, the best thing to do, is to get as many comments like up to 10, then start to pick a best response only if you see one that appeals to you. It is your discussion, so it is your choice to make the best decision.
