What anime is the best?

That is hard because I like many animes and think each are the best in their own right. But if I had to say which one I really like the best would be Fullmetal Alchemist. I watched that show from beginning to end and saw the movies.

I don't think there is a best, because there are way too many to pick from first of all, and it depends on the person. I have a huge list that I could pick from and would not be able to pick favorites because I love them all equally for all sorts of different reasons. xD

I recently watched Macross Frontier and must say that I absolutely enjoyed it. It was my first space opera type anime. I hope an ova is released because I would like to know what happens after Aito saves Macross. If I had to choose I would say Eureka 7 because I think that is anime at its best. The story was captivating and the music complimented the anime very well.
