I used to carry a purse and I have lost so many of them it's not even funny. I have a nasty habit of sitting it down somewhere, anywhere and then walking off. These days I just carry my checkbook and that stays right in my pocket. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG AND TRUST IN GOD**

I remember the time when I misplaced my wallet in my school. The funny thing is that it doesn't have any money in it so I guess it's quite a relief. But still I tried my best to find it. I end up finding myself exploring almost all places in the building . Well that wallet has a sentimental value so I never neglected it.

I haven lost my wallet yet, my wallet been robbed, and that robber send back my IC to me. I always lost my hand phone in the toilet, when I went back, my hand phone was not there anymore, when I call my phone, someone shut it down. I am glad that you get your purse or wallet back, of course the money is not there, but at lease, your credit card , IC, and others in your wallet or purse.

Dear friend, I had lost my wallet only once when I jumped to a boat from the bay or the platform where the boat was nearing and I recognised the lost of purse when I searched my purse for giving tips to the boat boy. It was really bad day for me as in my purse my ID cards, Credit Cards were also there. Later I had to inform to the bank and new cards were issued. I hope it was my carelessness for not being careful while jumping to the boat.

When I was dating my first husband, I had the habit of leaving my purse in a chair near the door. One day while I was there, someone knocked on the door and asked if I was there. This lady had my purse, saying that she found it in the stair well. He lived in a large apartment building. Evidently, while everyone was still in the house, someone came in and took my purse. they took the money, but luckily I did not have credit cards at the time, and I never put my car keys in my purse. There was a photo of me and my then BF, that is why the lady knew where to return the purse. I also have had my wallet stolen out of my purse two times, by pick pocketers, both time I got it back.

Lots of times. I mean LOTS! It's a mental ailment in my case. There were around two times when it turned my life around for the worse. There was this one time when I left my wallet on top of a desk at the office. Lucky an officemate saw it first and kept it safe. We had just been paid our salary that day and it was all there in my wallet. She was sighing and shaking her head, even looking like she wanted to cry over my stupidity. I have cried over my stupidities. MOving on now. Fingers crossed.

I went up the shop once and when I got back to the house a few hours later I realized I'd lost my wallet. I looked all around the house and even went back up to the shop to see if I had dropped it outside getting back into the car. Outside our house is a green banking which I run up and down and when I returned from the shop I ran up the bank and spotted the wallet right outside my house standing up on it's side poking out of the grass so everybody could see it! I couldn't believe it was still there, I had £300 ($600) in it at the time too!

Ah not me personally, but my mother. I feel bad. When I was a little girl and we were at a restaurant, I needed to use the bathroom so she took me. We went into the stall and she put her purse onto the hook thing. Then we left... without it! When we came back later, it was gone and I'm pretty sure the contents were important, money, etc. I feel really bad but now I ALWAYS make sure I have everything I leave on hooks or shelves whether at the dressing room, bathroom, etc.

Yes I left it in a cart at Wal-Mart at midnight and didn't realize it was gone until they called me and said we have your purse. I had just cashed my check and everything. I thought for sure all the money would be gone but when I got there all my money was in my purse. They said a cart pusher brought it in. They wouldn't let me tip him.

Yes... many years ago when i was a teen. I remember, it was after Christmas and i started from home going with my bike to the bank to deposit all the money i received as gift during the Christmas, and my wallet fell while i was cycling without realising it. And about half an hour later, police telephoned me (i had my ID card there, and they took my mobile number from home) and told me that they found my wallet... and so i got it from them (thanks god)! :)

I have never lost my purse or check book anywhere but in my own house! *LOL* Though when I was sick I went to a 24hr grocery store for some meds and in my haste and being sick & exhausted I dropped my check card. A few days later when I was feeling better I looked online and someone started going shopping to my dismay. So I had to go to the bank and take care of things & put their shopping spree to an end before I start bouncing checks ect.

I always think I've lost my wallet, and then spend hours retracing every place I've been all day, never to find it. I've even drove around because I thought I had left it on top of my car while getting gas. I always find it between my car seats, or in some hidden area of my bag. The one time I actually *did* drop it somewhere, someone found the number of one of my friends in it, called them, then figured out where/when I worked and actually brought it to me. Everything still there. Amazing! That kind of thing always restores my faith in people.
