sending off or fetching the one you love to the airport....

travels is unavoidable at work or we need to go to another country to work. it feels sad seeing the one you love leave. if the man or woman you love has to leave for another place which do you like sending them off or you would rather fetch them when they get home. i have a friend who doesn't like being sent off for he feels sad leaving his family behind and prefers his family to fetch him as he goes home. how about you?

Well, whenever my boyfriend comes to visit me in Singapore, I would go down to the bus terminal to pick him up as well as send him off when he is going back.
Initially, picking him up when he arrives in Singapore makes me so happy that I just feel like hugging him, and sending him off from Singapore will cause my heart to tear, causing me to cry.. but somehow or rather overtime, it becomes something that is normal. It is normal for me to go and pick him, and send him off when he is sending me. In this sort of way, it is weird.
Usually I would love to fetch people when they arrive in Singapore, but I would hate sending them off. The feeling of fetching people is always a feeling of joy as it is by chance that I might have not seen the person for a long time. However sending people off will cause a tear jerk reaction, leading to tears and goodbyes. I hate goodbyes. So.. I do not like sending people off. This is just me.

Sending off my husband to the airport when he was a seaman was the hardest part in our life.For twenty years we are used to it.Fetching him from the airport was another experience that we always love.The duty free shopping was what we are always waiting for.But when my son grew up and became a seaman too he did not want the idea of sending off and fetching him at the airport.He always surprises us after finishing his contract.And he leaves alone he does not want to see me cry.

This is really a good topic for I like to answer this. 
I am the type who never want my loved ones to send me off to the airport when I go. When I flew to the US, I never let anybody come with me to the airport. I just go alone with all my baggage with me. My sister works as normal, leaves the house as if none one will travel that day. My parents are away from me so, i did not let them come and send me off.But one thing I really like is that, they will feth me at the ari port when I come home.. that is really exciting...

Mu husband doesn't like it when my daughter and I go with him to the airport when he goes back to work in Iraq. He doesnt like seeing me and my daughter cry when he leaves. It's really emotional. But some times he can't do anything coz we really go with him to the airport.
