My daughter was just put on zoloft????

what is this and what will it do??
she went to the emergency room for a lump in her breast and the doctor said that it was not a lump , it is her rib!! that she needs to eat and I guess he talked to her and asked her some stuff and then gave her a prescription for Zoloft.

My mother was on that before she passed away, she had Alzheimers and I thought it was to calm her down but i guess i could be wrong the reason she was put on it, but that seems to be a strange thing to put someone on because of a rib....

I guess he talked to her and asked her why she was not eating and stuff, i had been noticing that she had gotten really manic and obsessive here at home and very , well , i will just say it , she is my daughter , crazy acting, like if a page not loading on the internet she will start throwing things and she threw some of my plants around the other day becuase myspace was down for upgrades. He did not give it to her because of her rib he just went on from there and asked her why she was not eating.

When I was 10 nearly 11, I started those tablets.
I suffered from anxiety and panicked about nearly everything.
These have helped me. Yes I had some side affects for the first 3-4 days I had them, but it's all fine in the end. At first you might experience nausea, dizziness, but it doesn't actually mean your going to faint.
She'll do fine. :)
