Does anyone wear cosmetic (non-prescription) contact lenses?

I have naturally dark brown eyes and all my life I have wondered what it would be like to have blue eyes. So, when cosmetic lenses came out, I was thrilled! You can get some great deals online! I've had everything from honey brown to regular blue, sapphire blue, blue-green, sea foam green, gray, and amethyst (violet) ones! The problem is that sometimes they pop out! I use eye drops, never sleep in them, and definitely don't wear them every day - I like to change the colors to match my clothing or my mood! I wonder if I have some kind of "dry eyes" condition - I do take a couple of prescription medications - could that be it? What can I do? Am I doing something wrong?
