To INHERIT ETERNAL LIFE

We believe as Christians that as we die we will inherit the Eternal Life from God. Everyone hopes to inherit it, but we really are not sure were are we going when we die. How do we really inherit eternal life? There are many words and things we have to do to inherit this. God gave commandments and yes it is a way for our eternal life. Love God above All things with all your heart with all your soul and with your whole mind. It's the very first commandment that God has given. Some think believing God is enough of showing Love to God. You believe God but you don't go to attend mass, church activities and church needs. Where is the love with that? Some are religious but not spiritually religious. They go to mass, church activities but never understand the word of God nor live in their hearts and mind. They pray but is it really a prayer from heart? God Speaks from the Heart not anything else. Yet the teachings of the church is not been practice outside. It is always said after the mass. Go and spread the good news of the Lord. Love your Neighbor as your Self. This is a very hard thing to do for some of us especially with some who live with hatred on their hearts. To see their enemies makes them burst with so much hatred. Hatred comes when you let pride Rule over you and that makes you hard to forgive and let go. God is forgiving, his people shall forgive for those who don't forgive are not his people.

It is said that if someone wants to follow Christ, he must forget totally himself and follow Christ. He must detach himself from the things this world offers.He must live by the teaching of Christ and serve Him by means of loving other people even the enemies. One good example of this is Mother Theresa. She detaches her life from the pleasure of the world and give herself to serve those people who are in need. She goes to those places where life is very hard and bring there the love she has in her heart because of Christ. It is very much true that if someone wants to be with God, he must take all the hardships and insults of those people who enjoys living in earthly pleasures.There will be lots of obstacles that will hinder a person to follow Christ. But, if there is a strong faith and love for Him, all things will be bearable.The happiness that we will find in following Jesus teachings is very much different from the happiness we get from this world. And we will only know that real happiness if we follow Him. That is the way to have eternal life.

Yes you are one good example is Mother Theresa. In fact she is our patron in our church here. Sta. Theresa de Avila. Her works and faith in God is being honored in our church. She is truly a Saint and a good follower of God.

True, They are some church people who are not really Christians. They are like decorations with no solid foundation. I see how people blatantly confessed they are Christians but their actions are just completely opposite to what Christians means. Christians are followers of Jesus Christ. They should immitate the life of our Lord Jesus Christ and have personal relationship with Him. Some people thought that if they have God or gods to associate with they surely have eternal life but does not how it works. For me faith in Christ that produces good works naturally, lead us to eternal life. Truly if you have faith in Jesus Christ and you truly love Him your love for others will be genuine and effective. You don't need to work hard out of your effort to be good it will be your lifestyle to love others and forgive those who should be forgiven.

well im glad you ask "how?" well the Bible clearly states that thou shall be born again, in the book of "Acts 2.38" peter saids that God commands that everyone has to batise them self in the name of Jesus for the forgiveness and redemption of their sins. this you must do, even Jesus did it. Seconly you must receive the spirit of God in your life this is his promise. this is also in the book of Acts chapter 2, the day of pentecost, and you have to show proof by speaking in other toungs. also living a good christian life, but do remember that your actions wont save you, it was set like this so no one could say things like "I was very good so I deserve even more to inheret eternal life". That is why we all must do this. Jesus said that no-one can see the father but through him. the book of Romans states that we all sined and we are excluded from the glory of God. By baptising you are getting rid of sin and by acceptintg the spirit of God in your life your accepting what Jesus said.
