Whats your profession???

Are you take engineering in school, or are you an in the profession already and you are leaving it? How many years of school does it take to become an engineer? I myself went to school to become a computer programmer, way back in the 80's. Things have changed so much since then. And computer programming languages are much like foreign languages, if you don't use it, you lose it. I have worked in the financial field most of my life. Now I own rental properties and work online. These are my two main sources of income. I am so happy to finally work for myself.
