The election of Obama has created a lot of hype in the US as well as in India. Youth in their millions have participated in his election campaign, donated small amounts totalling millions of dollars, voted in quite large numbers and helped him to win.His oratory has impressed many. His ideas have been appreciated.He has created great hopes among the middle classes and workers. Above all, there has been created a tremendous hope and confidence that he will meet the present economic crisis headon and provide some relief to the middle classes and workers of America.And will try sincerely to bring peace in the world. His victory in the elections in the face of such bewilderng opposition has started talk in India too that we too will find or have an Indian Obama.Obviously, Indian youth too are facing the problem of poverty and unemployment. Minorities have their own grievances. In this situation, do you share these ideas? Do you see anybody who can meet the hopes and aspirations of the deprived people in India?
