I think i have some type of bug or something in my computer, but my antivirus isn't able to take it out. Does anyone have any suggestions on anything free that i can get to remove the virus?

There is one that is supposed to be better than most of the ones that you have to purchase. I think it is called AVP. I'm not sure where you can download it, but I do know that it is free. My sister had Norton on her new computer, and had a virus. Then she downloaded that and it found a virus that Norton could not find. Go figure, pay all of that money, and you could get something better for free. LOL You could also try shareware.com and a few other sites like that that provide free downloads. They are usually ligitimate and they have user ratings listed along side of them that you can read before you download them. Good luck to you. Have a great day!

I still use Norton. It is okay for the most part. I have heard both good things and bad things about AVG. I do not know much about McAfee. I hope that somebody with experience in either or both of the last 2 can post here and enlighten us! I am sorry that there is something wrong with your computer! :( I know how very frustrating that that can be! :( I hope that you can get it working again very soon! :)

I use Avast for my computer. It really seems to work well and you can download it for free. It updates every day as well. Since I started using it I have not had a virus on my computer. I hope this helps.
