Did somebody had already made a "pamamasko"(don't know the exact term. lol) in your house? Well at this time of the year, probably yes. But how about as early as August, september? There's this one time, a group of kids did Christmas carol in our house. With improvised tambourine and all, they sang the traditional(as usual) christmas medley. It was pretty surprising.. It was -ber month already but at that time the atmosphere wasn't Christmas yet. I wasn't impressive but it wasn't bad afterall. Nonetheless i was still generous to give them few "piso" coins, just to reward their effort. But the next day was just noisy, annoying. lol More and more were making early christmas carol. The more carollers knock on our door the more we learn the new Christmas-carol-answer-back, such as "Wala'y kwarta"(no money) and simply "Wala". What makes it more annoying is that majority of the groups are the adult ones(age probably ranges from 30-45). And you just can't do anything but spare them few of your coins. I'm not being "maramot" and I don't have anything against them but hey kids sing better than they do. Christmas carol is just a fun activity. I've done that when i was a kid, and i've really enjoyed the experience. But i just don't like the idea that people nowadays tend to loose it's meaning. I don't like the idea it has becoming a "business" for some people. Let's just keep Christmas carol the way it is.

I'm not sure if its business but some carolers will ask for solicitation for a certain Christmas program. It's quiet annoying because once you give them cash, some solicitors would also go caroling at our house. So I just give candies instead of cash. ^^,

As early as this month there are already carolling going on. I can hear Christmas songs being aired on the radio and malls but seeing carollers I think is a bit early for them to do. For some city/municipality they do implement that they ask permission first for them to do it.
