Is online dating reliable?

I've noticed how fast internet changed lives. To be specific in online dating that would lead to engagement and to marriage. But the big question is, is it really reliable? Can you really find love through internet? with both individuals facing their PCs, can they really share love? So distance does not really matter, just one click away, then you'll end up getting engaged. Is it really love that they felt for each other or just infatuation? Cyber Love or Virtual Love is it reliable?

i don't think it's reliable.anyone can make pretentions and disguises online.and mind you,it's really hard to tell if the person is sincere or not.you can only rely on it once you get to meet the person i think.well,i'm not also saying that dating online is not a good thing,i just think it's only an alternative to connecting to people from around the world.one might be lucky to find the love of their life online.cheers!
