ultra portable low cost laptops or entry level laptops

Almost all the major laptop brands have now introduced their ultra portable low cost laptops. But they don't have good performance even comparing with an entry level laptop which nearly comes in the same price. So which one you prefer to buy an ultra portable low cost laptop or an entry level one..

Hey, I prefer an ultraportable laptop since you can literally take it anywhere you want to. Even if you go on school/college trip, you can take this without any hassle of taking up too much space.

I have a budget ulta portable. I bought my 13 inch Toshiba Satellite for $900 at Amazon.com and have been very pleased with its performance. Though the keypad is made of a "fake" metal material, it works fine. I think I've really made the right choice in picking this winner. It's not as light as an air mac but it's so cheap!
