I start off with the best of intentions of sticking with my diet; but from Thanksgiving until Christmas, I just can't resist all the yummy treats there are. I love it all...except for Fruitcake. Needless to say, I put back on nearly all the weight I have tried to lose over the past year in little over a month. How about you guys and gals? Are you able to stick to your diets during the holidays and how do you do it?

Hell no. HELL no. It's all about the feast. It's not really a celebration if you don't get to indulge.

Yes it is...that is very true. If you don't allow yourself to indulge, then you really aren't celebrating now are you. You are bemoaning what you are denying yourself. Thank you for your reply.

I can never have enough will power for that, with all the goodies around. Just have to go right back to dieting after the holidays and have a great time.

I try so hard to stay on the diet during the holidays but it just doesn't seem to work. I love all the yummy treats. I love to make goodies and candy and cookies. I wish I had the will power to make it through. THanks for asking and it is nice to know that I am not the only one.

What do you like to cook? I'm pretty convinced that I'm not even going to try to stick to the diet this year.

No I do not. Because it is the only holiday that the family is together and you can eat alot. I think you are allowed to have a good meal once in a great while. It just means that you have to work harder on losing the weight.
