When I first seen a pasta dish, I thought it was a spaghetti but to my surprise they say that it was a pasta. I was clueless at that time. But over the time I figured out the difference between the two. I think pasta has many flavors than the spaghetti. But I also love spaghetti specially with too many cheese and sauce on it. Now, I'm craving for pasta. How about you? Spaghetti or Pasta?

Yes, pasta includes spaghetti and many other shapes. I like spaghetti but rigatoni is my favorite pasta.

Actually, spaghetti is a form of pasta (Italian origin). So, I guess you mean -- whether we prefer spaghetti or another kind of pasta? Since pasta varieties are usually distinguished according to their shapes (spaghetti is long and cylindrical, lasagna is rectangular and sheet-like, macaroni is shaped like a curved bean that's hollow, etc.), my preference depends on its sauce. Now that I think about it... I like ziti the best. It's a kind of pasta that's tube-like. I like ones that are cut on a diagonal on both sides, like a pen, with ridges on them. When we make ziti, it's usually with a tomato-based sauce and the shape really gets much of the sauce -- you get a lot of flavor with each bite. BON APPETIT! :D
