What do you feel seeing Your reputation rating and star color down?

Personally, as far as I know, mine has been at the one it is now for most of the time they have rewarded the Star on here. It would be a little disappointing if mine was to go down for some reason, and I hope that I would deserve the mark down as well. Personally though, there are people here who sometimes put too much emphasis on things like this, and should just continue to enjoy being a member here, meeting New friends, and having Fun. Is this not what this site is supposed to be about as well?

Yes, I had a level 9 and now it dropped down to 8. I was upset about it just like you were, but eventually, yeah got over it.

I never really experienced my reputation and rating go down. I have never really been much active I guess in this community to be rated down by other members. And I am most careful when responding to topics that are sensitive. I try to be civil in my responses. But if that were the case and my rating did go down, I would be really disappointed cause I have had it for so long. I would do my best to take back what I have lost and to keep it that way!

Mine has gone up & down so many times, I've quit paying attention to it!!! I had a 10 until I made a particular person mad & woke up the next day with an 8. I've not figured out how one person can do that & I'm NOT going to worry about it. I came here for the fun & to make friends. I've made tons of friends & I'm having a BLAST!!! So, I don't care about my star. I say exactly what I feel & if it offends somebody else, then that's their problem. That's what discussions are for. Give me a good reason to change mt mind & I might. But some people hit the negative button just because you don't agree with their point of view. I find that right petty. So, now my line of thinking is to just have fun & don't even look at the star!!!

Hi dong! Mine rate went down from 99 to 97 and I feel disappointed also, but I can't really do anything about it. I too just ignore it and just continue having fun here on mylot. I guess just keep posting and have fun.

i have been lucky as my star has not gone down yet. i wouldnt mind too much if it did as i could just work back up again. it would gave me something to do lol. happy mylotting

i feel bad no doubt. but it can be controlled by me. due to trolls i lost it from a 10 to 6 few months back. never got it back

Mine went down from 98 to 95 this morning and now its 96. I got used to it now, but when I experienced it the first time I was really disappointed. I think others just don't agree with our views sometimes.

Yeah, I was disappointed when it first happened to me. But then it passed. Eventually, I started feeling the way you do dong1970 where I now pretty much just ignore it. After all, it has absolutely no effects other than for bells and whistles. And there are going to be people around here who negative rate you no matter what you do, so yep, I'm no longer concerned about the whole matter. I'll still enjoy MyLot and posting on here whether I have an 8 start or I have a 1 star.

i actually do not know when and at what level a star rating and star color is given. Because I have not been given so far. But I jumped down from 52 to 43 after 2 days of myself being dormant on mylot. how are star ratings given? after how many discussions, responses and friends.
