This was the title of a recent article in an Indian newspaper. Did you know that the most succesful people are those that don't watch much (if any) TV. The time spent watching TV can be productively channeled into improving the quality of our lives, tackling pending tasks, starting new projects, building relationships and most simply, getting more sleep..are you an addict or are you a moderate TV watcher like me- 1 hour a few days a week..

You have given a lot of food for thought here sunsham. I myself don't feel very motivated with television in my life. I think it is an example as a type of getaway for some people. I can't sit in front of tv for long periods of time like some people can. I can watch a comedy or drama during the week but then I leave it at that. I don't find it productive twenty-four/seven. My son does watch cartoons during the day and also he plays. I spend time doing chores or just enjoying surfing the internet. I can be stimulated with other things then the box with noise coming out of it.

Thanks for your compliment, bamakelly! I watch TV the way you do too. Do you set limits on your son's TV time or does he also follo wyour example? I have an infant and when he does start watching TV, I would want so much for him too to not be a TV addict!

Agree with you technically, but its quite relative, if I have so many things already pending, then I do feel guilty of I spend even an hour with the telly. And no I am not so good at doing something and watching TV simultaneously, like some people would recommend..
