Before I left my job, I became friends with a co worker. I helped her when her father got sick and she's helped me with my issues lol. When we go out ... I feel as if she's champange... and I'm beer out of the bottle. We are just in different levels if that makes sense but whe get along perfectly. I've been going NUTS trying to figure out a decnet gift for Christmas but I don't think I could afford anything she would like lol. I was thinking a basket with wine and some homemade chocolates and cookies for her and her new husband. Does anyone have any ideas? Would this be acceptable?

that sounds really nice. i think people that are fairly wealthy always prefer something that is homemade. you could do a coffee one (dip plastic spoons in chocolate), put in a couple of mugs and some nice coffee (and cookies that you have made). just be creative!

Thanks - I guess the problem is that I'm not very crafty and when I try being creative - I start off simple and after brainstorming it's huge and fancy lol. I like the spoon ideas - her husband drinks coffee she doesn't - I could get some organic tea (she loves that stuff lol). THanks!
