It has been talked about in the news that on election night President Elect Obama came out on stage and brought his family out then sent them back as he made his speech. The stage was constructed so that he was pushed out into the crowd but above it and the wide stage made it look like he was the only one people should be looking at. Every other political candidate made the victory speech or concession speech with his/her family behind him. It was like he did not want anyone around him for others to watch, like it might be a distraction. He has to be the center of attention. Is that the way he is going to lead the country? It is to be done my way or no way?

Obama was just looking out for his Family. The stage projected him way out, and there was No protection for him or for his Family. How many American Presidents and other important American Leaders have been assassinated? Obama knows the answer to this question only too well. Obama Knows that he is the center of attention (He's the most important leader in the World)and he has no need to make a big deal out of it!
I saw him speak that night, and I was very Favorably impressed with him and his behaviour!

I have not seen it but it was reported that when his plane landed he was the first one out and came down and no one saw his wife until they got to the White House.
As for the stage he could have held his rally in a place where security could be more controlled. He is all about himself and his followers now want a National Holiday for him????

She should lose her job, and be charged as well.
She violated his privacy and overstepped her authority.
There are laws against that kind of thing.

If 'the man' 0bama continues with the self centered attitude I can pretty much promise he'll be ignored and consequently become ineffectual. There are some pretty big egos in DC. He has alot to compete with and they won't put up with no one man show.

I think Obama will, finally, make a real president, not the pooch the US had to stand for the last 8 yrs.

Without question President Bush did not stand up for the best interests of the American people or was a pooch.
Without question neither Barrack or McCain stood up for the best interests of the Amercian people concerning that 700 billion dollar bailout which the American people overwhelmingly oppossed.
There are a lot of pooches around the office of the Presidency lately.

I certainly hope so... such arrogance and egotistical behavior is easily identifiable and quickly becomes tiresome.
Such people do not last long in leadership positions.... and he may well turn out to be a one term wonder like Carter.
His policies are certainly the same4 as Carter.
