So now what are your views on obama's presidency. He made history throughout the world and has entered the white house at a time when Bush has destroyed the American economy by putting all the finances into the unnecessary wars in the middle east. Can president obama make a difference, well i guess he already has by becoming the first black president.

1) Bush did not destroy the economy - it was well on it's way down the tube before he ever took office. Also, the American people need to take a good portion of the blame for becoming dependent on credit and on government programs instead of living within their means. 2) The war in the middle east is very far from "unnecessary". That is, of course, unless you wish to live in a world full of terrorism! 3) Obama has made no difference YET - he has only made promises that even he doesn't think he can keep. 4) Obama may be "black" if you're talking about the color of his skin. He is however, half-white, partially African and partially Arab (his father being a mixture of the Kenyan cultures of African(tribal) and Arab heritages.

1)If the economy was going down the tube, what did bush do to stop it? 2)Did the war in the Middle East stop, or even reduce the terrorist activities as a result of the Iraq war? 3)He has not yet become the President. Wait till January .09. 4)Black or brown, African or Arab, he is an American, do you deny it? American people in their wisdom have chosen Obama as their president to lead them to a better future.Let us give him some time before we make a judgement.

Bush has attempted to get even more in the way of economic stimulus to the American people, but has consistently blocked by a Democratic Congress - only when it became a "crisis" did the Democrats agree to pass legislation to attempt to help our economy. Has our country been attacked again? Aren't conditions in Iraq better than they were before the United States intervened? I believe not only is our involvement in Iraq reducing terrorist activities but much more is being done to help the people of Iraq in the way of schools, hospitals, etc. Believe me - there are many who will be holding his feet to the fire to fulfill his many promises. We all know that it too early in the game to expect anything to be happening - and it is also too early in the game to be saying that he has made a difference. Color or heritage doesn't make any difference at all, but why pick out one part of your heritage to emphasize just because it will make you the "first" one to be elected. Wouldn't it be more accurate to say that he is the first biracial person to be elected President? I also think it's a big slap in the face to his white mother and grandmother who raised and supported him when his black/Arab father deserted him. "American people in their wisdom have chosen Obama as their president to lead them to a better future.Let us give him some time before we make a judgement." - Most Americans understand and agree that these things will take time. It is, however, premature to be stating that he is making a difference.

But i'm worried about him..Although i'm happy for his triumph because he was able to mark up the history. I want to see how he handle the United States of America. I wanna know how great is this black American most specially in the economy of the the said country.

well in order for him to function properly,he would also need to have a lot of positive support behind him. That is from congressional members and such.

I do hope Obama will be much better than Bush.People were disgusted with him(Bush) and his plitics. Iraq and Afghanistan and now Iran.Within the country he has destroyed the economy.Workers and middle classes are suffering.People are losing their homes. Obama is expected to give atleast some relef to these people even if he cannot do miracles. The first few steps he has taken in forming the advisory teams etc. are promising. He can do some remarkable things if he is not stopped in his tracks by the Big Moneybags. If only he does not meet the fate of John Kennedy!
