I went to a friends house on Saturday and she was watching a few bootleg movies. have you ever seen a bootleg movie?? This wasn't my first time I have seen a few before. The picture quality was pretty good considering it was filmed in a theatre. It kind of gives the movie an old feel to it. We watched Semi Pro first and it was supposed to be in the 70's or whatever so it actually fit the movie. We didn't see anyone get up and interrupt the movie which was good.

Yea, I have a friend who gets the same type of movies. The quality is that of regular cable tv (not HD). The only way you really know you're watching a bootleg is when someone gets up during the movie (which happened a couple times in one of them). But it's not very often and is pretty unnoticeable, so it seems like whomever was recording them, was in the projection room.

I have never watched a bootleg! And I don't understand why people just can't go and watch it in t he theaters or wait and watch it on dvd. I mean if you go to redbox you can rent a dvd for only a dollar. Don't these "bootlegs" cost more? Plus bootlegs are illegal and shouldn't be watched or condoned. Of course this is my own personal opinion.

I hate watching bootleg movies! Every once in a while, I'll see a pretty good bootleg, but most of them I can hear people laughing, seeing people get up and down from their seats, or part of the movie screen is cut off due to the camera angle. Since I work at the movie theatres, I don't need to watch bootleg anymore, and I can just get in for free. I always hope I catch someone filming in the theatre, because you can get a reward of $500 or more just for reporting them!
