Out of the following service providers who is your favorite: Blockbuster Video, Netflix, Hollywood Video, a local mom and pop shop, New Release or Red Box?
For me, I have personally tried all of the services above, but the one I give my most business too is Red Box. The reason why is every Monday, they send out a text message to all of it's users for a Free movie. Well tonight, my family and I enjoyed the movie "Speed Racer" for FREE.
My son absolutely love it, after the show and during dinner, he announced to his sisters, my new nickname is "Speed Racer SDJ". It was too cute. So every Monday, we get to enjoy a Free movie. With the way theaters try to break your wallet at the concession stands, we definitely enjoy the FREEBIES in life. The really interesting part is we don't have to make a special trip to the REDBOX location either, as we only go when we have to do some shopping. Which of course happens to be weekly. LoL!
What about where you live, do you pay the regular price for movies, or are as frugal as I am? What's your story?

I prefer Netflix. I've been receiving movies from them for about 3 years now. I love the service, you can make a que as long as you want of movies you want to see and when they arrive you can watch them whenever and send them back whenever. It's not too expensive either. I love it.

Wow 3 whole years. You must have stock with them by now. LoL! I do admit I love their service as well. I haven't had any problems with delivery or returning the DVD's. The turnaround time is not too too too bad. I just didn't like waiting on the mailman. SO, all of that to say, I'll probably stick with my Freebies through REDBOX and call it a week, at least every Monday. But some months they give us freebies on Mondays and Wednesdays, very cool way to entice more users to rent, because if they don't return it back to any REDBOX by 9pm the next day, they have to pay the $1 for each disc they have out.

It's Netflix for me. I haven't been to a video store in quite some time. If I had a Blockbuster near me I might belong to their online service instead of Netflix, because of the Blockbuster total access thing where you can return movies in the mail or straight to your local store. But the nearest Blockbuster is like 20 miles from me (we have Movie Galleries here for some reason but not Blockbusters.) But I love Netflix, and I was quite impressed with the way they listened to their customers when they planned to drop the individual family member accounts but then decided to keep them because people complained.

Yeah I love their service as well. I just don't like to wait for the mail, LoL. I guess I'll stick with the Monday freebies from REDBOX. That is very good to hear that they actually listened to their clientele. That is the sign of a good business leader behind the scenes.

I know a few GPT sites that will pay you to give Netflix a shot. So if are interested, the will give you 30 days for Free to try them out, before you have to pay for the service, and as long as you did give it a valid trial you can get paid. Sometimes, even better amount than the trial session. That's is how I got introduced to them through a free trial. A friend of mine gave me a free trial card that he received from them a few months ago. I gave it away to someone else who had not tried the service though.
