Full Moon=Crazy People?!?!

I have noticed that at least one week before a full moon, the kids in our classroom are crazy! Some are crabby, but for the most part they are just whacko, more than normal :)! When I was in customer service for 13 years, I could always tell when it was a full moon without looking in the sky or at a calendar because people were crabby and crazy! I have also heard from police officers, nurses, etc. who notice they are busier when there is a full moon. I read somewhere online a couple of years ago that there is no scientific link to a full moon and people's behavior. I beg to differ. Does anyone else notice a difference in people's behavior before or during a full moon?

That's funny, our astronomy teacher was telling us about that in the beginning of the year. When she first started teaching, all the teachers told her to watch for the full moon, because that's when the kids start to act a fool. There may be no scientific proof, but I definately believe that there is some type of link there. People don't just act crazy just because they know there's a full moon in the sky and decide to wreak havoc. I wish your full moon days well! lol

Is that true or it's just a myth? I heard several stories regarding this before but until now I never saw any incident with my own eyes. This discussion reminds me to Dragon Ball anime where the main character will transform to a big gorilla in the full moon. I think I should do some survey after this to see if something really happened during the full moon. And hopefully I will not meet any vampire

I know what I have experienced and what others in different career fields have experienced, so I think it is true. I guess it's up to you and your experiences if you think it is a myth or not. Thanks for your response.

I work in the public and I do notice it without a doubt. I keep track of the moon cycle but I could almost keep track of it by peoples actions. They say the full moon affects everything for 4 days before and 4 days after. Even the wildlife and fish get very restless during the full moon cycle. It is a very facinating topic to read up on .

Well I have the same intuition like yo. I can detect from people's reactions and gestures that its full moon because they have weird behavior. We already have it proven in our work because we receive mostly guest complaints and weird incidents during that stage of the moon. I can't help but be amazed how this moon affect the moods of the people. ^^,

I think it is just an excuse for people to act out. Blame it on the moon cycle, like a woman blaming her pissy mood on her cycle. Now, if someone starts to howl at the moon, grow hair faster than usual and starts to walk on all fours, then yeah, get out of the way.

With some of these people, I'm surprised they haven't started howling at the moon and growing hair faster. Thanks for your response.
