I'm using 1024 x 768, which is the highest resolution available for my laptop screen. I prefer to set it to this resolution, because I don't want the font size to be too small. ^_^

Is it a SyncMaster. I remember the old 14" Samsung SyncMasters. I sold a couple of them.

Hello,
i'm using a 1600 x 1200 on my Belinea crt monitor. I can run 3 different virtual machines in this way, keeping all of them under my view ;)
Btw, i'm just curious, due you said your resolution is 1200 x 1600, i should suppose your monitor is in a vertical shape instead than in a standard orizontal shape? :D
happy myLotting

But there is so much more space on a 19" monitor. Why not go higher?

I was using that resolution before I made the jump to 1600x1200 on my older 19" monitor.

I'm only using 1440 x 900 on my HP 19" LCD. The refresh rate I think is only 60Hz.

That's a very common optimal resolution on older LCD monitors. The best deals on monitors at online stores usually state that resolution. Thanks for sharing.
