Scariest Places You visited

I've been to some remote part for some community work and yeah I call the place to be one of the scariest I've been. There are only few people, the houses are far from each other. What's worse is that there is no phone signal and only a few of the households have electricity. I call it scariest because people don't talk so much, they believe in spirit beings, local witches and stuff. At night, all you have to hear is the resounding noises from nocturnal animals. Scary I say for there was a buzz on an existence of an internal-organ eating monster, the local version of a vampire.

I've visited my friend's house in the province. I was excited at first because their house was near the seashore. But when I arrived there, I thought I was in a LOST island. Their house was the only one in there and all were coconut trees. I was so shocked because they have no neighbors. I thought I was in the movie where I lived in a weird family. But my vacation turned out to be the best one because we really had a great time but unfortunately I was just trapped in their house and I can't go out at night.

What the heck? Where is that place? The scariest place I've visited was this mountain road in Alaska. The tourist guide joked around and said if our bus accidentally fell in that ravine there our bodies would never be found cause there's no cellphone signal there and so far from the city. I hated him.
