i am very particular about neatness and i dont like things being littered around the house or at my office, i always feel everytrhing has to look neat and tidy for a smart look of the house or office or even puiblic places, i wish if eveyone had the sense to drop garbage in the garbage box itself

Foremost, I have to admit that I envy you for having the habit of being neat, clean, and orderly. Unfortunately, I can't say that for myself because I'm a packrat. Although I find it ideal to have an organized workplace or home, I know I failed to do it in practice. Here in the office, there are piles of paperwork on my desk. Aside from this, I also have some boxes filled with folders under my table. The things in my desk cabinet are also disorganized, and I've been meaning to place it in order as soon as I could finish every paperwork which needs to be done urgently. Hopefully, I'll be able to do all these before the Christmas vacation starts so by New Year, it would be nice to come to my work station to see everything in order. The condition of our rented house is similar to my office table. Eventhough I'd like to arrange everything as neat and organized as possible, there are just some tasks which have to be finished first. Also, I couldn't risk my quality time with my family (particularly with our daughter) just doing all the cleaning and decluttering. But sometimes, I would even take a day off from work to put some order in the house. I'm fully aware that it's nice and better to live in a clean and clutter-free home, healthwise and spiritually.

I have been working at this a lot more lately. I recently started work on a janitorial crew, and now, I notice a lot more. Each day I try to do at least one task that will make cleaning the rest of the week a little easier.

i try very hard to have everything neat and tidy and everything in its PROPER place. however i live with 2 slobs. no matter how many times i tell them to pick up the dirty clothes or wet towels from the bathroom floor and put them in the hamper that is IN THERE..it never happens without me having to nag about it! much the same for leaving trash on the coffee table, or their shoes lying in the walkway for everybody to trip over because they cant take the seconds to put them under the bed instead. aaaagh! then they have the audacity to get MAD when they cant find something!! and practically accuse ppl of having moved it so THEY cant find it, or that its been "lost" and now needs to be replaced!! if they would just put things where they BELONG, it will be there the next time they need it! why is that so hard to understand? sorry...im done lol!

you are just letting them free, be forceful and tell them to keep things neat and tidy otherwise they are not going ot have their way, hen things will fall in place, one person cannot always keep everythinh in place, it required a colelctive effort

I work at keeping my home and office space neat, orgainized and DUSTED. The dust around here will creep up on you and suddenly you're knee deep in it. Along with the dog hair, but that's another story! Beds are made daily, at least one load of laundry done a day - folded and put away! I try to dust one room a day, vacuum parts of the house on scheduled days, dishes and kitchen cleaned daily. I might leave things in the sink, but only to dry after I've washed them If I don't keep up on it on a daily basis, it will overwhelm me, then it will take me a whole day to catch up, and to me, that's a waste of a day!

And one more thing - I always try to put things back - as in everything has a place and everything in it's place - so that it's easier to find things, like keys! Then I spend less time looking for stuff!

I can't stand to walk into someone else's home, only to find it a total disaster. Drives me crazy. Especially people who work from home and expect to have clients in their home - and see that mess? I would not want to do business with that person! A messy desk too - I mean, how can you find anything when there's a big pile of STUFF on it? A messy CAR - now that's a bad bad thing in my book. Clean it out!!!
