Been there, so totally done that! We as women are softies and we want to make sure we've done everything we can to make a relationship work, I think that's why we do it, so that when we finally do walk away, we KNOW we gave it our all. Then we can walk away guilt free, because obviously HE was the screwup. LOL. So totally been there. :)

Yep, me too. I remember a few years ago, I bought tires at Discount Tire Co. went to my trunk later that day for something, and saw a donut for my spare, thinking surely someone stole my full size spare out of my trunk I made a HUGE stink. They gave me a full size spare to shut me up. I got home, called my Dad to complain and whine a bit and he told me (he gave me the car) that it always had had a donut and my last car was the one with the full size spare. I felt about this big _____________. DER DER DER!

I probably have done a lot of dumb things but I can't remember any particular thing. I would probably say that I put my keys in my jacket pocket and totally forgot about it and I spent a long time going around the house trying to find my keys before I remembered they were in my jacket pocket. LOL

Ok...I've done a lot of dumb things in my life...some of them are downright stupid, while others are somewhat comical. So I will go with the most recent thing I did that was really dumb/stupid. I am bipolar and have a few other health issues as well. A couple months ago, I decided that I didn't like taking ANY of my medications, and that they weren't working at all. So....I quit them ALL...COLD TURKEY. Boy was I messed up. I went through serious withdrawls for about a week. My son, who is 18, and lives at home, said it was like seeing and taking care of someone coming off heroin. Yes, it was really that bad. I did go to the doctor, finally, when I was able to get in. However, they don't really know what medication to put on now, so they are basically using me as a lab rat. But, at least I am back on some meds. And I learned a valuable lesson...don't try to stop/cold turkey even prescription medication.

OH, man my Mom used to do that ALL the time, and my sister has done it a few times, it's like you get to feeling fine and think you're on top of the world and who needs "help" when they feel that good, right? I can understand the logic leading up to it, it's just that if you know you're Bipolar, you should know better. But good for you now that you know, that you won't do it again. I'm sure it freaked your son out quite a bit to see you that way. Bless your heart!
