I back up my files using 4 gig space DVD-R blank disc and I am using nero 8 and 9 for my software. I am tired of uninstalling nero 8 after installing nero 9 that is why I got 2 nero on my system. Sometimes I use poweriso to burn my image files. I always have a spare blank DVD's in case I needed to dvd write immediately. It is really a standard procedure to back up in a dvd. A long time ago when I do not have a dvd writer, I used a cd writer for backing up my files. It is really more effective using DVD because it got more space.

I have a lot of DVD's lying around but most of them are backups of files that I might need sooner or later. I am usually using those 4,7 GB DVD's or whatever the capacity was. I'm not using dual layer DVDs because I don't have a burner that supports them. And I have been totally fine with 4,7 GB DVD.

yeah, mokda1..i used to save my file thru burning it at DVD or CD. i used 4.8GB...only 4.8 GB is available in our office..It's only now that i learned that we have already 9GB dvd available in the market and i'm happy with it. But sometimes i used online too for saving my file, because sometimes the scratch disk is inevitable. sometimes the disk will get deteriorated..It's better to have more files back-up right? Happy mylotting to all.
