Yes, I was one of the rich person in my area..., I fell down in the financial status, when I started my business.... At that time I don't let my thumb down...but, still my status was going down...... that time, my friends, left me and made fun of me....... that let me down...... finally, I fought back, and regained my status..... then, my friends came to me...... this affected me very much......how humans behave like a chameleon......?????

Yeah, right now we are in a changing economy. Things seem to be headed for the negative direction. But you have to realize, that we go through swings - highs and lows - in our economy, throughout American history. The 30s, the 70s, the 80s, the dot com bust, and now the 2008 financial crisis. And, sadly, the big corporations' greed and lack of keeping up with their sh!&, to put it bluntly, is the cause of the majority of this 'crisis.' Banks gave $250k homes to that Joe Schmo making $25,000 a year. Big credit card companies gave unlimited credit amounts to the teen girl working at the Taco Bell. Not all banks went under. JPMorgan Chase, Wells Fargo, etc. - they were smart, and avoided these crises. Personally, I don't believe we should bailout anyone - capitalism should be allowed to run its course. All we gain (even though we don't gain anything, as American citizens) is a larger national debt and more money out of our pockets to the government. On a better note, here in Texas, we're not as nearly negatively affected as those in, say, California. We're much more conservative with our cash, and invest wisely. Not to mention the FAST-growing service industry here in Houston.

In our area we have a 10% unemployment rate. This means every thing is getting more and more difficult for people so we are trying to help as much as possible. I give an extra $1.00 whenever I can. I know it's not much but I don't have much so I give what I can.

I have been watching Fox News pretty close for the last month or more and I am not seeing anything encouraging. The fact that General Motors and Ford are in serious trouble tells me we haven't seen the worst of this economy thing yet. I have been telling people for 5 years our economy was getting ready to crash and no one would believe me. I have been watching the housing market real close for several years and it just didn't stack up right. For one thing the price of real estate increased way too fast. Also there was way too many new houses being built and they started setting longer and longer before they would sell. In the past 3 years some of them would set for over a year before they would sell and then it bight not be but a few months before they were for sale again. To me this indicated people were getting into houses they couldn't afford and this has been confirmed in the past couple of months. I'm not going to be too concerned about it as long as our food supply doesn't being effected. If this happen we are in big trouble. Being retired it hasn't really effected me yet but I'm sure it has a lot of people that must work a job for a living. The bad part is I expect it is going to get a lot worse before it starts getting any better.
