Sometimes it is so much easier to have a dishwasher. then again sometimes it takes more time. im glad that i do have one though. i dont think that i would like it if it broke down.

I hand wash my dishes because I don't have a dishwasher. Even if I did, I don't know if it would be worth it because there is only 2 of us in the house. I think it would be a waste of water to run a dishwasher if it is not full. At my parents house, we had a dishwasher but it kept breaking so we would end up hand washing the dishes anyways.

LOL about the washer breaking all the time. Yeah if there is only two in the house i think that it would be easier to do by hand. thanks

I hand wash, I feel that a dishwasher uses too much soap and water, but then again I am told that the dish washing detergent is not good for the skin.

I prefer to handwash, because I find that over time, dishes start to look cloudy and even taste funny... as if they have perpetual soap on them, from a dishwasher. But, if I had kids, I'd probably vote dishwasher.

You need to add another product to the dishwasher- jetdry- Then all your glasses and dishes come out clean and shiny. I much prefer dishes washed in the dishwasher, they are more sanitary. Some people wash dishes by hand and don't rinse them after in clean hot water. That really turns me off. Also if you don't change the cloth and teatowel daily the dishes smell funny.

I myself prefer to handwash my dishes, dishwashers are fine for in a hurry times, but 90% of the time I will handwash them, it is good on the hands and I like clean clean dishes and Yes I rinse in straight hot water, very important to get the soap all off...

Call me lazy, but i would MUCH rather have a dishwasher. The dishes would never pile up in my house, and to tell you the truth, I think they might even be more sanitary because the water in those gets much hotter than any water I can put my hands into!
