I was wondering if anybody has read this womans books. First of all I like to read romance and historcial based books. And these books that she writes is Christain too. I love her series "The Daughters of Blessing" I have read all three of the books and now they have a fourth which i just got. These books are really easy reading and I read all three of the books in about two weeks. Normally I'm not much of a reader but these books put so much content and you feel like your apart of there family. Ladies and Gentleman if you have little girls and you want to have a wholesome story to read to them. This is it. It shows what true values are from the mid 1800s to the beginning of the 1900's. I just love these books.

Yes! I love her books! I was introduced to her books by a friend of mine who has met Ms. Snelling. We moved to North Dakota about a year ago, and the accuracy of the historical elements in her books is amazing - she definitely does her research!

I am so glad I found someone who enjoys her books as much as I do! Which series have you read? Her last book I couldn't wait till it came out. IT was like Christmas. Although I have to admit I really haven't had the time to read it yet. But luckily her novels are so easy to read I'm sure I'll have it read by in a few days. Are you reading one of her books now? Or have you found another great author? Another Author I really enjoy reading is Jane Green although she isn't a Christain Author. But her books are quite interesting and steamy.

I have read all of the Red River of the North Series and all but the last book of the Return to Red River Series. I have also read Daughters of Twin Oaks and am getting ready to start on Sisters of the Confederacy. I'm in the process of trading some of my Janette Oke's books for some of the Dakotah Treasure Series. The books centering the Dakotas are really interesting to me - to think of how these prairies were homesteaded and the hardships that those pioneers faced here. I can't imagine spending a Dakota winter in a soddy!

Yes in a soddy would be horrible. I actually drove thru South Dakota and North Dakota in the beginning of the year. When My husband and I were driving over the road. It's amazing how cold and how much snow ya'll get up there. But there some pretty scenery though. I really want to read Daughters of the Confederacy too. ANd I love that site that shows you that you can exchange books though. I think I may have to sign up and give them a try. I still have yet to read the red river series. But I'm sure I'll get to them.
