Do I Have To Verify My Paypal Account In Order To Receive Payment?

I have joined many money-making sites. But when I reached the limit in which the site was supposed to make payment to me, nothing seem to happen. I haven't verified my Paypal account yet, meaning I haven't linked it to a credit or debit card. For receiving payments online, do I have to? I am not sure if it's because the sites are scams, or if it's because I haven't verified my Paypal account. Hope someone here can explain to me more about this.

I don't think this matters too much when recieving payment from sites as I was unverified for months and successfully recieved several payments from a variety of sites. The only drawback you have when you account isn't verified is that you can't withdraw your money to your personal bank account...therefore you can't get at your money till you sort this.

This is going to depend on the site. Some sites require you to have a verified Paypal account so that you can't have multiple accounts. This makes sure that you aren't trying to sign up a lot of bogus accounts to get paid with. As for Paypal themselves, it isn't required for you to have a verified account. But it will help you to sign up at several sites that won't allow it otherwise.

You don't need to verify your PayPal account. If PayPal receives your payment, they will send you an email. Nonetheless, you can check your PayPal account also. After all how much time it will take?

No not really, verifying a paypal account makes you remove its withdrawal limits and it makes you withdraw your money from a bank. As fare as I know mylot is legitimate since I Have received payment for it already.

Regarding sites you have reached payout on...on some you may have to request it; also check (while you have the opportunity) that your paypal address is entered into your details on the sites in question. Having an unverified account shouldn't make too much difference recieving payment but you won't be able to withdraw the money to your local bank account until you are verified.

And make sure your country is under the list of those countries that can receive payment. As some can only use their paypal account for sending money.

There are 4 possible reasons: 1) The site is a scam site with no intention of paying 2) The site requires users to make a request and wait for a certain period of time before payment is made 3) The site did stipulate only members with verified PayPal account to get paid 4) The site is now unable to pay due to various reasons including being scammed by its members Try to look at things from the bright side..

To receive payments only you won't need to verify the account. You can still use it to purchase things in eBay and other sites that accept paypal. However, to enjoy unlimited amounts of withdrawals you need to verify the account. Another advantage of having your paypal account verified is that you get a secondary source of funding. If you have insufficient balance in your paypal, then the remaining balance will be funded through the account that you linked your Paypal to. In my case, I used my credit card and so, I will be able to use my credit to fund purchases without having to expose my name and account number. All the other advantages pointed out by previous replies are correct and true. Happy mylotting, my friend!

no, you don't need verify your paypal account in order to be paid. Probably you joined some scam sites. In order to cashout your money, you will need to verify your paypal account, and also if your cash flow exceed the limits for unverified accounts, you will need to verify it, as you can read in the paypal site

hi i dont thins you have to verify your paypal email id beceuase one of my friends has just got payment from his unverified paypal email id and as you know it is just the sneders email id that has to be verified and not the receivers and but if you want to use that money else where like you want to remit that to a freind then you have to verify your paypal through your debit card or credit card and also they charge about 3 dollars for verifaction and it also proves that your account is in running state and they give you back the money once that is verified
