For me I perfer morning because then this way I'm clean for the day. Also when ever I take a shower in the morning it wakes me up. If I was to take my showers at night then I would never get much sleep. Although I have no choice but to take them at night because I can't take them in the morning because my 2 year old always seems to wake up before I do. So when he is awake gosh for bid I can't take one because he never stays in one spot long enough...lol and if he does stay in one spot long enough then my other son who is 6 months old is up and needs fed and then wants me to play on the floor with him, which I do that because I know that children need their floor time and needs to have mommy time. So I always try to get my showers when my hubby comes home, although I would love to take them in the mornings. I can't complain at least I get my showers. So do you perfer your shower in the morning or at night and why?

I prefer taking showers at night because then I can get up later in the morning. I hate taking showers in the morning because my hair is wet through out the day or I have to use the hair dryer which makes my hair frizzy. Besides, hot showers relax me so it works well to take one before I go to bed.

You are so lucky I wished it worked that way for me. Because if it was to relax me then I would be taking one everynight. I never thought of the whole thing about hair being wet through out the day. Have a nice day and Happy Mylotting

I usually take a shower once in the morning and another one at night/evening. This way, I feel my body is clean and I am feeling fresh and more energetic to do my work. Maybe because I have no kids, this have been a routine for me, taking a bath twice a day seems like a must. During the morning I usually take simple shower because I have many things to do and not able to spend much time for my shower. But during the evening/night shower, I like to take a long bath since it feels very freshing and relaxing.

I so wish I could start getting two each day. I think in fact I will start being sneaky and get up before my son does, cause then when I get done taking a shower I could get my stuff doen before he wakes up. I jsut wish he would get up at the same time each morning though for me to do this. Happy Mylotting

I'm a stay at home wife, so I don't usually take my showers till in the afternoons. In the mornings, I get my exercises in, and I do all my chores and things around the house, and alot of times I work up a sweat, so when I get everything done, then I can go take my shower. I don't like taking them at night because I have thick hair and I don't blow dry it, I don't like going to bed with wet hair. Now during the summer, if its been a hot day, I might take one at night but I won't wash my hair, I'll wait till the next day to do that.

I have to take mine at night, because I am always fighting the alarm clock. I have almost three-five alarms set that begin going off at a quarter to four in the morning...and I usually do not get up until 4:30. And I have a 30 minute commute...so needless to say I am always running behind and if I wait to take a shower in the morning I would be even more behind. I know logically i should one go to bed earlier, two set my alarm for 4:30 or 4:00, etc. it fits my personality I guess.

Sounds like you like your sleep. i like my sleep because by the time I do fall asleep it will be almost 4 o'clock in the morning so all I want to do is sleep but can't because my boys would never allow that cause they don't ever seem to sleep in so I can. Happy Mylotting

The mother cat of all the kitties i just posted - The mother cat of all the kitties i just posted earlier - she was under the van and staid there the whole time i took pictures of her babies.
Hi there Seppy. I prefer them in the afternoon - evening, after i am sure i won't go out anymore (especially in the winter) because i am a bit sensitive and if i washed in the morning i would probably get a cold (happened before).

When I was still in school, I used to take my showers in the morning. Now, I am out of school and work from home, so I just take my showers at night, before my boyfriend comes home from work. If I have something to do or I have to go somewhere though, I always take a shower before that. It really just depends on what I have planned for the day, but most of the time I take them at night.

Morning hours are start of a day. We leave the bed and go to take a bath or shower. It makes a person more and more fresh. Night is for sleep. People become tired and night and they get solution of sleep at night. So I would like to take shower in the morning hours.

i'm definitely a morning shower person. i must take a shower when i wake up. it doesn't matter if i'm late, sick or what. if i don't take a shower i just don't feel good. i can't do anything unless i take a shower first. if i get home and feel sticky, i'll take another shower. here where i am, the weather is generally hot and humid. what my mum used to do is plonk me on a chair in the bathroom while she takes her shower. maybe you want to do the same thing.

I prefer morning showers as well. Wakes me up and starts me day off right. But being an insomniac, I have showered at all hours of the night and very early morning as well. Thinking it would relax me so that I could sleep, etc. It never works, but I have done that. I am not really set in any need to have one in the morning, it is just what I prefer and usually do.

I prefer then in the morning and at night. Morning because I like to start my day clean and also I have really curly hair that likes to frizz so it needs wetted before I can do anything with it. But I also like them at night because it makes me feel fresh and relaxed love goingt to bed with that feeling. Don't hardly take them at night no more thought.

I shower twice. One in the morning and the other in the evening. I like it best during evening because I feel very fresh and there's this feeling of relaxation and calmness in my body. I get sleepy just with the smell of bath soap (lavender) so I always take a good shower during night time. Even after work, I still shower because I feel relieved after few hours of long standing in our desk. ^^,

honestly i get up too early to get a shower. i clean my face, brush my teeth and go. i have a early work day till 2 then i get home to exercise 'till about 330 i take my shower and still have energy for the rest of the day fresh and clean for the evening outings. i go to bed still pretty clean but if i feel uncomfortable a take another shower before bed. and to help me sleep i read with a lavender candle on 'till im calm and relaxed.

I prefer to take my showers both in morning and evening. I like to take one in the morning to wake me up and so I will be fresh through out the day and one in the evening to wash the strain of the day away and be fresh and clean for bed. it helps me relax to take a hot as I can stand it shower puts me to sleep fast especially when I use the lavender body wash.

I prefer to take showers in the night rather than in the mornings. I prefer to sleep clean rather than waking up earlier just to take a shower. I always wake up late in the morning and I don't want to do anything extras because that means i have to rush. © ronaldinu 2008

I would rather take mine in the mornings. I usually take them at night though because of my 2 year old son. He always try to come in the bathroom and take stuff out of my shower if I'm in there. So it's just much easier to take a shower at night when my husband is here to watch that he doesn't come in the bathroom with me. I can close the door and he will just come and open it and come in if he wants to. If it's the weekend or for some reason during the week if hubby is home then I will take it in the morning.

That's how my 2 year old son is always coming and instead of taking things out of the shower he likes to pull stuff out of the drawrs and likes to play the dirty cloths. I could close the door but I also have a 6 month son that I need to listen to for when he cry's. Happy Mylotting

After reading the responses here I'm not surprised that we are in a drought. The amount of water being wasted is appalling. Do people consider only their own comfort and care nothing about the world water shortages? Two showers a day, 1/2 hour showers, a warm shower to wash a cold one to rinse. It lows me away how selfish (selfish and thoughtless) people are. I have a quick shower at night...it warms me in winter and cools me in summer. I go to bed clean which keeps my sheets fresher. I'm still clean in the morning (wow). Sometimes I just have a wash using an amount of water in the basin. We are in the middle of a drought and water is precious.

You are so right, although I never take 2 showers a day only one in the morning if my children allow and it's only for about 10 minutes, just enough time to get my hair wet washed and rinsed off and a fast wash to my body. Who knows when we might end up with no water because of the drought. Happy Mylotting

Hello Seppy1984, I prefer to take a bath in the morning because it make my hair neat. I usually take a bath when I go out of the house and it usually falls in the morning. Sometimes do when I don't go out and just stay in the house, I take the showers in the afternoon and not night. It is also good to take a showers at night before and after dinner because you feel fresh going to bed. I don't do it often, because my hair usually stands up in the morning and I will look like a monster and so I need to take a shower again to look fresh and clean. My kids are already grown up and they take their shower also in the morning. Have a great morning! Regards.

For me I would have to say in the morning. I like to feel clean all during the day. The only thing I do not like is when it is cold and my pores are still open but I normally have on a coat or at least a jacket.
