Hi, Education is important to any person. It certainly helps you in looking for a better career with good prospects. However, there are a few issues that you need to address on University Degrees. First, is the job market in your immediate working environment offering many vacancies (great demand) for your expertise? If there is a lack in demand and more than adequate supply (lower salary or over competitive), then you might want to reconsider taking up the discipline. In order to plan your career, you will need to pay more attention on the future development of the community. For example, if your country looking to develop the infrastructure or commercial sector within the next 5 years, you should be looking forward to a better prospect in the field of Information Technology, Business Management and Civil Engineering. Do take into consideration on the duration of the course. A full time standard degree course usually takes 3 years to complete. Secondly, it is important to know if the degree is recognized in the country that you intend to work in. If you took a degree from a University that is not recognize, it may turn out to be a waste of money. There are also Universities that offers recognized but lower grade degrees. They are have lower entry and exam requirements or cheaper course fees. However, the value of these degrees makes you stand a lower chance in getting a job when compared to graduates from reputable Universities. You may check out the credentials of a University and the programs they offered by Googling it. Thirdly, paper qualifications is only a pre-requisite to an interview with the company's representative. If you are only good with books but lack the knowledge in application of your knowledge, chances are you will have difficulties in landing a job, especially when the employer is not a firm believer of paper qualification. Lastly, you will need to build a network in order to build your career. People skills is a module that is not offered in any university program. It depends on how good are you in socializing with the right people that will help you in your career. So do build on your social network and let people know of your abilities because it is sometimes a better measurement than looking at qualifications (never judge a book by its cover). I have listed out a few points that you have to take note of when it comes to higher education. Wish you the best for your career development.

You are right. University of capacity. Learning is an ability to play well capability, the ability to require training. Diploma is important, but not the most important!
