Two stories in a row.

I watched the news yesterday morning and they were talking about two stories in a row that just bothered me. Apparently because of the economy pet owners are surrendering their pets to the humane society and other shelters because they can not afford them. In turn these shelters are running out of funds to care for these animals and guess what is happening to these pets? Right after they showed this story another one came on right behind it.It was the one that they just cannot speak enough about,Obama's kids getting a new dog. I am thrilled they are getting a pet and I think it is nice that at least one animal will get a good home. I don't know if I was more bothered by how the news channel decided to line up these two stories beside each other. Or the fact that while people are loosing their pets because of the economy all this news channel had talk about before and after is the new dog that will be living in the white house.
