~Bedroom~

Right now my bedroom is 'Starry Night Blue' that I mixed with other blues and some white, and at all different stages of the mixing I painted a wall or trim or stripes (the room was hideous dark fake wood paneling, so the ridges going down between each panel I painted a darker blue to match the trim. The ceiling has a little bit of blue and a little bit of pink mixed together and I sprayed a bunch of sparkling crystal type stuff on it. The curtains are purple. It's a great room for sleeping in! Your lilac and green sounds great to me! Lilac bushes have lilac flowers and green leaves don't they? And it looks beautiful! My computer room, where I spend most of my time, is violet. I was going to paint the trim pale green but it looked to gaudy with the deep rich violet, so I passed on that, but I do have the room full of green plants against the violet walls which has a stunning effect... to me anyway.

My bedroom is in shades of pink. Old Rose and very light salmon pink. For that matter, the whole house is in that color except for the roof and the ceiling. It was like that already when we moved in, and since I like pink anyway, I didn't have it repainted.

My bedroom is done in different shades of green, but I have sheets that are a dark maroon color, and it looks fine. My daughter did her wedding with lilac and green and it was beautiful. When she first told me she was going to, I didn't think it would work, but it did, so I know it looks okay.

one wall in my bedroom has pink wallpaper with an outline of black flowers adn the other tree walls have cream paint.my bedding is also cream colour.my girls bedroom used to be lilac and green and yes it does work well.but i was getting tatty as the last people to live here put it up so we have changed it
