Donating to charity is a very rewarding experience, specially when you do it from the heart. Sometimes can't be able to donate due to lack of funds or lack of material excess. Have you ever donated to charity?

I do...not as often as I wanted to but I always see to it that I share. Donating to charity may not always be money, you can also share goods like groceries, food, clothing, and you can also share or donate your time. In this fast paced world we live in, donating time seemed difficult. We always have a reason not to, but the feeling of satisfaction , of fulfilment, you felt at the end of the day , tired you are maybe is different. Since I am my own boss in my work, I alloted my Wednesday afternoon to helping the nuns in our town. Even for this I sometimes find excuses not to go.

I make it a point to share my blessings to those who are unfortunate so I am keeping a charity of my own. Aside from that, our school also conducts medical mission and other similar program that aims to help the needy. My friends are constantly volunteer for such event. The feeling of happiness you'll feel every time you help is really unexplainable. You can't put it into words but it is a warm feeling enveloping you and as if renewing your strength. If only all of us know the true meaning of "humanity" then this world will be much more a better place to live.

Yes it is indeed a great feeling when you can be able to donate, knowing that you have helped someone. I admire you being active to charitable works and medical missions. Keep it up.

I have donated to charity. After my hair started to grow back after cancer, I donated all of my wigs back to the cancer society because they have wig banks for those who can't afford them. I mean you need to donate money, you can donate items they need. The women's shelter near me needs supplies and I am working getting them some of the everyday things that they need.

yes, although i don't have a lot of money to donate to charity. i donate my time instead by doing volunteer work. i agree that it is a very rewarding experience. you learn and gain many things even as you share what you can.

I donate, whenever I have a little extra in my pocket. But at times I dont, especially when I gotta shop for the things I NEED to shop for first (when it's all planned out already), but I do give at times. But sometimes I don't. And at other times people who are collecting donations for that charity don't really collect all the time, it goes to other expenses in the charity and a certain portion of the amount given goes to the cause you're helping. Take world vision for example, they pay the celebs on TV to be on camera to talk about the cause for an 'attention grabber' and at times, celebs can do that voluntarily. But it's quite rare.

Same here, I just pick some coins from my pocket and give it out when somebody asks. I really don't prepare or save some amount to donate to charity. I don't have extra money anyway.

Yes, I have. Actually it was an annual activity in my former job. During Christmas season, we choose a charitable institution, be it an orphanage, home for the aged or just a poor community and then we bring gifts and food for the people. The employees part is that, we give used clothes, food, gifts for kids or cash to the committee and then they collect them through a certain period and distribute to those who are in need. I participate during the activity because we also have a program prepared for them. Then in my own way, I do the same thing to extend my help to others. it's really a great feeling to help others.
