What is the longest road trip you have made - driving by yourself

The longest I have driven is about 350 kilometers (220 miles)
That isnt much I know. How far have your driven by raod?

The best thing to ever come out of SOuthern California is Interstate 10. That is an amazing drive - I have made it clear to Houston Texas (had to switch to the 20 in Odessa, Tx, but the 10 got me there!) It is beautiful, amazing, calming, interesting, historical, fun, intriguing and just a blast all around. I didn't go alone, although I did all the driving. I had my two kids with me and those are some of my most valued and treasured memories.

Trust me ... you will never see a more beautiful and amazing sunset until you see one in the deserts of New Mexico! And the fun of stopping at whatmy kids used to call the "indian stores" just a barrel of fun and laughs! THey called them that as years ago many of them were set up as "trading posts" and then of course added a gas pump or two - but they are all western/indian themes and styles - beautiful and enjoyable nad my daughter alwasy go to buy the little plastic indian dolls - they were 3/$1.00 and she could pick 3 at every "trading post" we stopped at! She loved playing with those little dolls more than barbies cause they were easier to carry with her, slip one in her purse etc. THey loved picking a fancy smooth beautiful rock from the collections there or the jewelery was my downfall - beautiful turquoise and black onyx and sand stone...my son colleted belt buckles.
But the scenery - especial my most favorite place in the world - Texas Canyon, AZ. elevation is if I remember right is about 8,000 feet and it is in Arizona, but the most beautiful place on earth!

I don't know about the kilometers but I've driven 3 and a half hours from Taichung to Taipei, Taiwan in 1998. My leg got stiff. That was not fun at all. Over here, i just let my husband drive. The longest was our trip to San Francisco - 7 hrs. The bad thing about not having the one to drive was my husband wouldn't let me sleep cause I had to keep him up while he's driving :(
