I always get a craving for Chinese food, but I don't feel like driving to go get it. The other night I was craving it, so I made some homemade Sesame Chicken. I got the recipe online, but I changed it a bit to make it taste better. It was great. The kids both loved it too. Do you like Sesame Chicken? What is your favorite Chinese dish, and do you ever make it at home?

I like Chinese food once in a while. I never really get a craving for it. Because a friend of ours LOVES going out for it. I never get a chance to miss it. We make pot stickers at home. The ones you find in the freezer section at the store. They are pretty good. Szechuan dumplings (spicy) potstickers are one of my favorites.

I have only had pot stickers a few times. My brother bought some spicy ones one of the last times I visited him. They were pretty good. Spicy!

I love chinese food too. My hubby likes orange chicken and lemon beef (i think that's what it's called) and I like chicken and corn soup, wontons, beef vegetables and combination fried rice. My son loves shrimps.

I've traveled and toured East Asia where the people eat rice and noodles 3 times a day. I thought I liked Chinese food until I had to live on it for a month. Original Chinese food is not flavored like our Chinese (in North America) cook it. They use no sugar and very little meat in their soup. The beef they do use is shaved and boiled in the soup and is difficult to chew. My jaws were sore from grinding that half cooked beef. After returning home I avoided Chinese food for several months and then broke down and tried a Chinese Buffet. Immediately I went inside I could smell the Sweet Sauce and MSG that is added to everything Chinese here in N. A. Needless to say I was disappointed with the real Thing in Asia and disappointed again after returning Home to Canada.

Sorry to hear you were disappointed with the real thing. That beef does not sound good at all.

The only Chinese food I will eat is vegetable lo mein and general tso and sesame chicken. I have made my version of lo mein before using spaghetti. I also have made my version of general tso. I buy the general tso sauce from the supermarket as well as hosai sauce (spelling?) It has always come out tasting good.

I also love to eat Chinese food. Its food are very delicious and easy to make. The first time I ate Chinese food was at my friend's wedding. They served Chinese food to all the guests. Since then I tried to cook Chinese food myself which I searched the recipe on the internet. I like sesame chicken, sweet and sour fish fillet, chicken with cashew nuts etc.
