Do you still wear contact lenses while pregnant?

I heard that wearing contact lenses is not good while pregnant, especially during the 3rd trimester of the pregnancy. I stopped wearing contact lenses since I was 3 month pregnant, though I haven't feel any uncomfortable to my eyes yet. How about you? Do you wear contact lenses while you are pregnant?

It definitely won't harm you to wear them. Pregnancy hormones and fluid retention can affect your eyes, and might cause your corneas to thicken slightly. Even if your eyesight isn't affected significantly, your eyes might be drier and more irritable which may make your contacts a little uncomfortable. I wore mine my whole pregnancy.

I got contact lenses when I was 20 years old and I did wear my contact lenses during each of my two pregnancies. I had 2 week and then monthly disposable contact lenses when I was pregnant the first time. I had daily disposable contact lenses when I was pregnant the second time. These felt comfortable for the whole of my pregnancy. I put contact lenses in for the birth too.
