I was just wondering if anyone out there is actually making good money doing surveys without having to pay the popular amount of $49 to join? To some people, $49 isn't a lot of money, but to people like myself, it's quite a lot of money. A lot of people have reccomended some survey sites that apparently have gotten them out of debt, but they all have a fee of usually about $49 to join. Has anyone out there paid the $49 and had any success...honestly?

Well, first off... don't bother paying ANYTHING for survey sites. All you will get is an--often outdated--list of survey sites to join for free. As for making a TON of money... well, you could if you devoted scads of time to it, and had an enormous amount of patience. But if you don't have that much time, you still might be able to make some decent pocket money. Two sites I recommend (free of charge. Ha!) are SurveySpot and Greenfield. SurveySpot offers a lot of paying surveys (usally $1-3, sometimes more) and an enterance into their sweepstakes whether you qualify to complete a survey or not. Greenfield offers more sweepstakes than paying; however, they occasionally offer some really great online panels that pay pretty decent (I once made $100 for a two hour session). In the end, search for survey sites. When you find something that seem promising, put into a search engine '[websites name] Scam?' and see if other people know of it, use it and if it is legitimate. Good luck!

I know you're not supposed to thank people for their responses, but I just feel obligated to thank you for that information. I just feel that if you ask a question and someone takes the time to answer it then you should thank them, sop thank you very much for that information..lol..I hope you get this before Mylt decide to delete it.

I would like to thank everyone for their responses, but I think I've given up on survey sites. I think I'll give them a miss. Too frustating.

Don't pay a dime to join such a site. The sites that ask you money are scams. The give you a list (most of the times with a lot of programs that are already closed) and that's it. I am a victim of this and I know. There are a lot of sites that pay out there that are totally free to join. Try increasedsurplus.com. It's free and it gives you $5 for signup and $3 per active referral. Since you are from US it would be easy for you to make some dollars per day ($10 or more) and without paying anything.

First off I agree with everyone else who has said DON'T PAY FOR ANYTHING LIKE THAT!!! Usually if they ask for your money its a scam. I don't necessarily do surveys, but other GPT websites. Last month alone I earned just under $300, JUST doing GPT type websites. It CAN be done, you just have to work at it. Look at the websites on my profile for some helpful stuff.

Don't pay a thing! The problem with surveys is that you must fill out a lot of their questions, when suddenly you don't qualify. Don't despair. I've gotten quite a few good sites from which I've received payment. Most of them are small, and most places have a minimum prior to withdrawal, but stick with it and you will get paid without having to pay any fee. Some of the sites I've used and gotten paid from are as follows: American Consumer Opinion (acop.com) Dataintelligence.com Greenfield Online.com Lightspeed Panel.com Mindfieldcenter.com OpinionOutpost.com OpinionPlace.com (This one is for AOL users) PineconeResearch.com SocraticForum.com Your2Cents.com Surveysavvy.com All of these sites are free to join and they all pay. If you can get lucky and get accepted into a panel for a survey (I've only gotten one) they will pay you a lot more for that one. Good Luck!

Lightspeed doesn't always pay as promised. Sometimes you need to chase after them. My favorite is Opinion Outpost. They are legit and always pay on time. No minimum either for cashing out.

rewardtv.com is a good site and it's free to join. You do like trivia on tv shows that you watched and they also have a few surveys mostly about movies. It is funner than just plain old surveys and they are real short. However, they dont pay cash you just get points that you can redeem for gift cards, sweepstakes, and auctions.

Doing surveys online in order to get money seems quite attractive but It's very frustrating thing to learn there're few of surveys you are eligible to take. I've faced this kind of problems. No matter what survey sites i have joined i just couldn't get the qualification to take most of the surveys which may help me reach payout. What's really frustrating is that you must always take much time to fulfill your profiles(pages of questions) before u could take surveys but i never have the luck to go any further.Maybe the place where you from matters(I'm from China):(

Yes I have come up against the same frustration. I started to register with thisurvey site that someone reccomended and then it got a bit too detailed with all their questions, by detailed, I mean personal so I just closed it off and also from past experience, after all the questions, I find out that I'm not qualified. I'm sure half of these survey sites just give you these qualifying surveys so they can make money from them.

Yes friend there's a survey program. In this survey program you needn't have to pay a single amount but instead you get $6 for your registeration as a welcome, then you've got to invite your friends. You will be given some websites for survey also for which you've got to give your opinion. I have joined it and i got $28 till now. You too can get it. You know what you'll get those websites for surveys based on your age you specify while registering into it. You give me your mail id friend and i shall send that link for joining to that mail id. I have sent that link a lot of my friends and they have also joined friend. Its no fake. If you don't mind give me your mail id ok. looking forward for your reply. you will be gaining $4 for each survey you take. Take care.
