Imagine technologies / internet world crash ???

The world is so into technology that whatever information we can get in just a click away. From the smallest to the biggest things its all about technology, technology and technology. When the whole world just sitting comfortably with the help of new technologies/ internet, can you imagine what will happen if the technologies / internet world suddenly crash ???

Hello,
i wish an internet crash will never happens.
Anyway, i guess we should think a bit more on the actual situation. Internet nowadays is something like the television on the '50's.... Is enough you fond a news on the net to suppose is true. And just like the tv on '50's that's not always a good way to think.
For example, anyone of you had ever thinked "who check if the information on wikipedia (just to talk about something well known)?"
Well, i guess more or less nobody check these information. I've in mind to write a page about a strange animal with 5 legs and 3 ears, just to see if it will be deleted, or it will became one of the "information" we can find in the net
