I was just done with watching the episode in Ugly Betty where it features rambutan. This is the link where I watched Ugly Betty, http://www.megavideo.com/?v=Q9VTR9I0. Anyways, in the episode its story revolves around this fictional tico berries. As I was taking a deeper look at it, I realized that is our very own rambutan. I was like really now. In our province, we have this succulent tree of rambutan and I just love rambutan. Anyways, are you fond of eating rambutan? Because I definitely adore rambutan.

I read that episode in the Ugly Betty website... and i kept thinking what that Tico Berry is... so not i know that it is a fictatious fruit... but it is nice that they used the rambutan... i just hope that they mentioned that it can also be found in the Philippines... I love rambutan to... opening it is like and adventure that is very wet... if i ever have a house of my own with a big garden... the rambutan tree is in my list... or the fruit bearing trees that i will plant...

We have in the province. I remember we would harvest fruits in our home lot in South Cotabato back then. We used to have chico, macopa, tambis, lomboy. When we went back there, the Avocado tree is standing still. We still have the durian and of course the rambutan.
