its a fact if one of your family members or relatives have hypertension there is a likelihood that you would also get it. it really does runs in the family, so better watch out because hypertension is one of the leading cause of mortality and morbity all over the world. my father died from complications of hypertension his mother died of the same thing 4 out of my fathers 6 siblings are also hypertensive. im sharing this to serve as a warning for us to be health conscious. the most common effect of high blood pressure is heart attack and brain attack which is very fatal.

I know what you mean if one of your parents has hypertension then there is like a fifty percent chance that you will have it too,if both of your parents have hypertension then there is like a ninety percent chance that you will have it to,which really sucks, and I know there are a lot of people out there who have hypertension, and some of them have to take medication for it to keep their blood pressure in check, and I can personally say that both my mother and my father have high blood pressure and it runs in both of their families, and I have high blood pressure to,and I remember my mother was hoping that my blood pressure would get itself back in check so I would not have to take medication for it like both my parents do,but now I have to take blood pressure medicine which is never fun and since I can not swallow a pill,I have to use my moms pill crusher to crush up the pill and then put it in a cup with water and then swallow it like that even though it does not taste the best,I manage to get it down, even though there are some days I forget to take my medicine, because me and my fiance stay busy, and we often switch our sleeping schedule from night shift to day shift,so I have to keep switching my schedule of when I take my medicine, which can often be difficult but I know it is not good to not take my medicine, and for people who have high blood pressure the best thing to do is,exercise, watch what you eat,and try to eat healthy and if you have to be put on medicine make sure that you take it everyday like the doctor prescribes.

well you now its better for you to take those medicines rather than end up with the consequences which is more worst right? its more on slf discipline actually, if you want to be healthy or not its really your choice.
cheers to good health

Well for depression or BP, medicines are not solution. Do Meditation, try breathing exercise, it will help you balance and handle depression.

I have high blood pressure and I am currently on medication for it. High blood pressure is commonly know as the silent killer. You can have it and not even know it. I don't know to much about my mother's medical history she passed when I was 12 years old. I do know that my father suffers with high blood pressure.
